I dreaded the question of “what are you?” bc honestly, I didn’t know the answer to that myself.
I didn’t feel like I was enough of any one term to title myself with it but that sounded confusing as 💩 so I’d naturally pick something & end up feeling like i was lying about part of myself.
One of the most confusing things I’ve ever experienced was not knowing who or “what” I was.
But then a friend of mine explained sexuality as a spectrum, we all fall somewhere on it, you might just lean a little more one way than the other.
I found myself somewhere in between this term & that term, and for the first time in a long I understood myself.
Whether a term, no terms, or maybe all the terms help you find and define yourself - do what works for you.
It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else, but not knowing yourself is so much worse then not being understood by those around you.
& people can never learn to understand you if you don’t understand yourself.
Take PRIDE in who you are, whatever that is for you. 🌈
